If you are like me then you are constantly using email to market to and communicate with your customers/leads. I send hundreds (if not more) emails a week. I love getting replies to my emails (I always use my email address as the reply to, since email is a low cost way to begin a conversation.) On Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 9:00 AM, Apple released the iPad into the world. By 10:00 AM, I was experiencing mine ($599 for the 64GB version). By the end of the day, 300,000 had been purchased. Or maybe “friended” would be a better description. Or “married”. The world has definitely changed. My first impressions: The iPad has far greater potential for business than I expected. And because it has an optional VGA connector … Read more »

Scott started out as a tech guy, so you should listen to him because like most tech guys I know – he … Read more »

Yesterday, I had the privilege to guest host the Small Business Trends Radio Show where Iinterviewed Victoria Ransom, the CEO of Wildfire Interactive. I’m ashamed to say that I hadn’t ever heard of Wildfire Interactive — but today, I’m going to make sure that this terrible tragedy doesn’t happen to you. You’ve probably seen, heard and read a lot of advice on how to use Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Foursquare and other social media tools to increase your business. If you haven’t been paying attention to Neuromarketing — you need to get on this bandwagon yesterday because the work that scientists are doing with brains will show you that much of what we think we know about how people buy is a big fat lie. Take this whole idea of choice, for example.
