Use Google Photo to Save Valuable Space on Your Phone
This app is such a lifesaver. Do you ever run out of space on your phone and you look to see what’s eating up all the juice only to find it’s your prized possessions, your photos. Yep, same here. Well, worry no longer. Google photo is our new favorite app! Why? It allows you to backup ALL (yes all) of your photos to their app. What makes it better is that you can search by a keyword and it will find your photos quickly and efficiently. Not only that, but you can delete the photos off of your device once it has download them to your phone. Here’s what the app looks like:
We were trying to post an Instagram story (if you haven’t done this yet, you need to!) and we could record because my phone didn’t have enough memory. So, we downloaded this app, waited a couple minutes and it worked like charm and deleted the photos from my phone. Here’s what the app looks like with your photos with the search bar at the top:
Real life uses
When we’re reposting on Instagram we like to keep tabs on who posted the photo and sometimes we’ll find it in the ?weeks ago? photos. We remembered that the photo had a coffee in it and type in coffee? in the Google photo search. Voila! It pops up along with the other photos that have coffee in it. It’s as simple as that.
Manage Your Team and Projects With WunderList
WunderList?(@Wunderlist) is a super to-do list. It integrates into your computer and in your phone. Its app works seamlessly and you can also add team members to your tasks. We use this to keep all of our tasks in order and complete. We have folders for clients and tasks that go into those folders. The team shares the client folders and has certain tasks assigned to themselves.
I was looking for a way to get everything done each week but I also needed to follow up on the tasks being done. When you have a lot of clients and people you work with, following up is important. The last thing we wanted was for something to fall through the cracks and a client be upset.
With WunderList we’re able to set up recurring tasks each week or month and we’re able to assign those tasks to people. We also broke it up into clients v. office work for the company. When it comes down to it, this to-do list is going to be the one stop shop for your office organization.
If you haven’t heard of this program, your scheduling world is about to be rocked! This is the app I use personally for scheduling coffee meetings or networking meetings. I even have this on the website for people to book directly with my calendar for their free 30-minute consultation. The one thing it helps with is the back and forth for dates. You know, Can you meet this time? No, how about this time? No, I’m booked then, how about this time? This can go on and on and on! Not with Calendly. These are all of the meetings I’ve created:
This app integrates seamlessly into whatever calendar you use for your business. We use Google Calendar and it works like a charm! Calendly enables you to set buffer times,? between meetings so you’re not booked back to back, you can create different events such as networking meeting, marketing meeting, planning meeting, etc. Here’s what it looks like when someone clicks on the one of the links above. They have a pro-version that is $10 per month or you can use the free version. I tried the free trial of Calendly and it was a no-brainer for me. When you pay for the year, you get it at $8 per month. I can’t tell you how many times people would go back and forth with me for a time for a meeting. I simply send them an email now with this link and they book when it’s convenient for them. Problem and time solved and saved!
